Apply for funding to buy equipment that’s used directly in response to a fire or an emergency.
The Seniors Care Grant helps low-income seniors by providing a Grant of $750 for each household, to assist with the cost of: household services, healthcare services and home heating costs.
Property Tax Rebate for Seniors helps low-income seniors with the cost of municipal residential property taxes. Rebates are 50% of what you paid on last year’s property taxes, up to a maximum of $800. You can apply until 31 December 2025.
The Heating Assistance Rebate Program helps low-income Nova Scotians with the cost of home heating. Rebates are $400 for each household.
