Nova Scotia Heritage Rug Registry

The Rug Hooking Guild will be on site at Wile Carding Mill adding to the Heritage Rug Registry on Saturday, August 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Any hooked rugs made in Nova Scotia or made by a Nova Scotian and completed at least 25 years ago (before 2000) can be registered. The purpose of this project is to preserve the history of this unique craft and as a means of recognizing the talented folks who practice the craft.
