Bridgewater Guardian Pharmacy Primary Care Clinic Open

I was thrilled to participate in the grand opening of the  Bridgewater Guardian Pharmacy – Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinic.  

As part of our government’s commitment to increase access to healthcare, I am very pleased to share that Bridgewater Guardian Pharmacy, 42 Glen Allan Drive, Bridgewater, is participating in a new program to offer more services. Pharmacists at Bridgewater Guardian Pharmacy will accept appointments and provide care for patients with common illnesses and those on medication for chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular, and lung diseases. The new program also allows pharmacists to prescribe and manage medications for specific illnesses. 

A big thank you to the team at Bridgewater Guardian Pharmacy for participating in this exciting new program! The program is being rolled out at 12 different pharmacies across Nova Scotia with plans to expand it this spring.
